#hash tag# STOP the boko haram MENACE(campaign for the massacred innocent Nigerians)

I grew up in a country where I was taught to believe in a better tomorrow even when the present seems to show the opposite.

I grew up in a country where I was taught that all Nigerians are one irrespective of their tribes or religious denomination.

Our leaders of the past fought so hard to create a perfect country where every Nigerian will be protected, respected and cared, at least so they said. I have watched for years as my country slowly bleed to its own destruction; I have watched for years as the hatred among different tribe and religion in my country grows.
We were taught in school as children to believe and fight for our country so that” the sacrifices of our past leaders will not be in vane”.

Our past leaders united irrespective of tribe and religion and had a common stand against the colonist regime who occupied our beloved country.
“What have our country turn into?” such is the questions I ask myself with tears in my eyes and heart filled with sorrow.

We have been so much divided among ourselves that it seems like we can no longer stand the sight of one another. We have been so much divided that we no longer feel sad when our fellow Nigerians are hurt or killed.

A great rebellion is taking place in the North; our brothers and sisters are being killed and the casualties are high and its solution seems far from becoming a reality; the blood of the innocent flows continuously as mothers, fathers, friends, brothers and sisters watch their loved ones brutally murdered and taken away from them.

“When would justice come” cries the forgotten souls of the dead.

Nigerians should be united against the evils being done on them, we were taught by some actions of our past leaders to have unity. Instead of pointing hands at one another and accusing each other we should be praying for a better and safer country. The aim of terrorism in our country is to divide us and build more hatred.
Politics have always been a dirty game even if it have to cost innocent people their lives, when would Nigerians open up their eyes?

At first boko haram claim to be targeting Christians and presently Muslims are killed in their dozens every day. When would we see that this has nothing to do with religion? only fools i believe will keep chasing shadows. When would we stop accusing and abusing the north and south and start holding our politicians responsible? I have watched innocent children killed and massacred because our leaders fail to protect us. We do not hold our leaders to account because we are busy hating one another. My hearts bleeds because my fellow human is constantly being killed like fowls.
It is time the younger generations put religious and tribal sentiments aside for the unity and success of the country.

The people of the country have never been this much divided since after the civil war as most politicians are presently stirring up religious and tribal sentiments in their aim for “divide and rule policy
Most Nigerians know that the outcome of divide and rule policy was not healthy for the citizens but something about human is that no matter how hard we try to make people see the reality of things unfolding right before their eyes; they just fail to realize the truth until it becomes late and in the end they all end up saying “had I known” such was the case of the Nigerian civil war in which thousands of innocent people lost their lives; a war which could have been avoided in the first place.

Sometimes we find it difficult to see the truth once we have been blinded by hatred and the only solution to seeing things the right way is to learn to accept each other and know that no matter how bad a group may seem, if we look deeper we would realize that greater number of them are actually kind hearted people but it just seems like the evil ones are overshadowing the good ones among them.
People mostly complain that why does it seem the whole world is headed in the direction of wickedness and hatred but the truth is that; the world is turning all evil not because the evil ones among us are many in numbers but because of the silence of the good majority among us.

Sometimes we Nigerians cannot help but wonder if there is truly any politician out there who truly cares for us? When would our messiah come? We have grown to believe that 9ja go better. Why wont the evil old politicians let the younger generations lead Nigeria to a prosperous country?
It is really disturbing for many Nigerians as we silently sit and watch our beloved and only country slowly head towards doom and we cannot do anything to make a change, some Nigerians believe that the only solution for a better Nigeria is by dividing the country into North and South but the bitter truth is that for Nigeria to divide, an all out war must take place in which the only solution to end it will be in division but what many Nigerians fail to realize is that by dividing the country, they are indirectly dancing to the tunes of some selfish politicians who believe that the only way they can have or retain power in the country in by dividing the country.

The truth remains that a united country is always stronger than a divided country and new countries usually go through tough time of fight for power just like in the case of South Sudan which after years of separation from the North have not in any way gotten the peace they felt they never had in the first place, even with all the wealth the oil brings, they never really have the needed peace to develop and enjoy the new country they always dreamt of and in the end, most of the dead would wish they never went to war to break up the country just to watch the selfish ones among them fight for power. The truth is that no matter how well and satisfied our dreams may seem, sometimes achieving it may seem extremely impossible and we may never live to see what we always dreamt of.

Every human in the world have the right to live a secure life but the bitter truth is that bad people seem to be winning their fight to bring horror’s in the world, not because they are much in number but because of the silence of the good majority among us, in the end we never lose by helping others; we only loose by holding back. Those innocent children caught up in the cruelty of this world end up becoming orphans with uncertain future when they grow up; some strive hard to make a change, some are simply tired of trying and others have given hope of a better Nigerian and world.
