During the November, 2016 US presidential elections,
Americans were perhaps the least envied people in the world when it came to the
leaders they were possibly going to be stuck with for the next 4years- between
having a Mr Trump Presidency whom most Americans despise or having a Mrs
Clinton whom is arguably one of the least trusted politicians of her time and
this is in part due to the email saga and many other issues that plagued her
during the election campaign period.
An election that left many around the world in shock- No
doubt, most people where certain that Mrs Hilary was going to win the election;
perhaps the rest of the world did not know what Americans knew- They felt
Americans would rather go for an individual they do not trust than go for one
that openly spewed hate and bigotry against other race and groups in the so
called 'Land of the free'.
Citizens of other country take interest in US elections; Not
because they don't have anything better to do but because when the wrong person
or a psycho is elected to head a Nuclear armed and a powerful nation like
United State of America. then that becomes a problem for the rest of the
world...
How worse can it possibly get with Mr Trump Presidency???
There are many reasons why I wanted Mr Trump to win and the
most important reason(s) is that he would ruin US relationship with most
countries and I feel this is important to salvage the world. It is better
having an open enemy than an enemy that pretends to be your friend.
Mr Trump is a diplomatic disaster for USA but perhaps he
might start to adjust some of his stance with time.
Many of Trump's stance include:
1. Stopping aid to Nigeria and most countries around the
world.
Personally, I love this, as a Nigerian, I feel someone needs
to Isolate the Nigerian corrupt leaders and those in Africa, they need to stop
giving them handouts and allow them invest in their own country and create more
factories and what should interest those who give aid to Nigerian government is
that in most cases; the aids gets stolen by those in government and I dont
believe Nigeria needs handouts from abroad; we are self sufficient.
2. Mr Trump win would cause a fallout with the Arab world- This
is good for the Arab world.
American friendship have only caused them de stabilization
and war. Mr Trump doesn't seem like the type who would follow behind doors to
instigate riots and overthrow of regimes- He acts too proud and outspoken for
that(which is a diplomatic disaster for them).
The only thing Arab-US relationship have brought them is
destruction and a Donald win will force them to look towards East and China for
more co operation.
3. A Donald win will create a fallout with the EU and Nato!
This is arguably another win for people around the world. Having those powerful
alliance is bad for the world and this is why they cause havoc and war without any
strong opposition from the rest of the world.
4. A Donald win will cause a fallout with many African
countries and it is in a positive way- They need to stop giving them handout
and allow them become creative and create wealth internally. Too bad those of
us in Africa are stuck with dumb leaders that embarrass us abroad!
The main point here is: ' A Donald win would make America
loose her major partners and allies on many font and this is important. Hilary
is a continuity of Bush's, Obama's et al policies abroad which means: 'Pretend
to be your friend and then help destroy other countries or those who don't
agree with you' and those policies have only brought destruction and insecurity
to the rest of the world- Theirs is a friendship that comes with destruction.
Mrs Hilary Clinton is a war monger, she supported invasion
of IRAQ, she supported many wars and overthrow of regimes and this is what is
causing insecurity in the world today. She claims to have regretted some of her
stance back then, but who is fooling who?
Mr Trump on the other hand doesn't want to be involved with
world politics or atleast he pretends he doesnt want to- he simply wants to
build walls, isolate United states and shut the doors..That's interesting! Less
American influence; more peace!(hopefully).
But Let me Tell you What Donald wont do even though he said
he would:
1. Ban Muslims from United states of America:
I don't believe for one second that Mr Trump is very dumb
and stupid to do such- It is all election talk to gain votes of bigots.
If he banned Muslims, American economy would not stand it.
Muslim nations would stop trading internationally with dollars and move towards
other currencies and that's terrible for USA. Arab nations might stop supply of
oil to US! The last time they threatened that.. we all know how it went...Muslim
nations would stop buying arms from US and they contribute so much to US
economy.
What Mr Trump might do is ban citizens of Syria, IRAQ, Libya
and he would do it, so it seems like he
is fulfilling the promise to bigots of banning Muslim but he wouldn't say: 'He
banned Muslims', he would be like: 'He banned citizens of those countries
pending when war stops there'. He isn't that dumb to place a ban on all Muslims
especially when he has personally business dealings with Arabs abroad.
I am not sure why the world is angry with Mr Trumps win! Do
not bother yourself so much, He might
end up being the best thing that ever happened to the rest of the world.
